Kazuma Cheetah 200
Ok so I bought this bike a few weeks back in hopes of having a fun little bike to putt around town on. When I bought this bike the wiring harness was severely hacked on it. I replaced the harness by ordering a zongshen atv harness for 200cc. It came with the ignition switch, coil and plug, CDI, regulator, starter solenoid, stator and pick up. All of the components fitted perfectly and as it should. when I went to start it I had no luck with spark. I had to attach a jumper wire from the solenoid to the starter to ensure that the starter works, which it does. I tried to relocate the ground (green wire) to the most negative/ grounded place that I know of which is the battery, still no luck. I have pictures as to what all is going on and I have a feeling as if this sensor may be the key to getting this running. It is a six wire sensor located behind the side cover where the stator is near. I have only a two wire connector from the harness side which is odd to just dead end wires like that. If some one could enlighten me as to what direction I should go with this to get it running again, Im all ears and would be greatly appreciative. Thank you for any advice.

Does the NEW wire harness have anything your OLD harness didn't ? Like any kind of Kill/Safety Switch Wires?
Some of those extra wires might be for the Clutch/Neutral/Brake Safety Switch that come on newer bikes. It also looks like some of the new and old wires don't match up in colors... Green is going to Orange, Red/Yellow goes to something else (look at the 6 pin connector). You night need to make sure the New and Old wire harness colors match in a wire diagram ?

everything was identical, I am pretty sure that the extra electricals were for lighting. I do however have a 3 wire connector from the new harness to a 2 wire connector on the brake light connector. but all of the components are the same. also there is the sensor with a green connector (6 wire) that I am curious about. I don't know what its for or the purpose of it. the last harness had melted connectors and most of the connectors were unplugged. so tracing back that sensor is one of my more main concerns. Its the third picture from the bottom I can post a picture of the sensor so you can get an idea of what it is.

Speedo sensor? Is there a magnet somewhere on your front or rear wheel?

I haven't looked but being an eduro I bet it could be. So that wouldn't affect the ignition system. but now raises the question of why so many wires for a speed sensor? Ok so if that cancels out the question of if it was ignition related. So what would be the issue of no spark to the plug? and do you know of any sights that I would more or less use a wiring diagram to reference what im doing? and testing the components what all the resistances would be and what reads battery voltage with the ignition on? Thank you for helping me out by the way.

If it was a speedo sensor it would probably be only one wire. So there goes that idea.

The big black part looks like a seal of some type so there must be a big hole somewhere that thing sticks into.

It does have a seal. Its a small o-ring, and it seals to the small rear side cover on the stator side. Its not it the large side case that says kazuma. Its in the smaller one. I would think that it has something to do with rotation due to the side peg. It mounts into this hole basically with a small channel at the face of it for the pin to set in.

also the only connector that fits to the green one as shown in the picture is a two wire connector. That's the odd part. I am pretty sure that these two connectors are just a fluke in the sense that they connect properly.

I apologize adjuster I just reread what you were mentioning about the wires changing colors at the connectors. That's what confuses me as well. That six pin connector doesn't have any matching wires. I wonder if I may have to splice it into the new harness. I still have the old junk one. I enjoy wiring harnesses so much lol. I am an automotive technician by trade and thought these would have at least some relation but it's a whole new field for me lol. I do know how to read wiring diagrams but that only goes so far when I don't really have one to refer too. Also I have downloaded the pdf file for gy200's it show specs and a wiring diagram but it's not specific to kazuma so it makes me a little resistant to use it. I was really hoping for a plug in and play but that's not the case here.

If your talking about the 2 wire connector green with red tracer it is matched to a green with red tracer as well. The green with blue tracer is mated to a completely different wire color though. Also do you have any input the the sensor I posted?

Well there is a green wire running to the negative battery post, also the is a ground connection which is a green wire with an eyelet for grounding. If your talking about the sensor I personally removed it. It is located in the left side engine cover. The rear smaller one.
