Cab choices
Hello all
I'm doing the performance bolt ons soon-ish and every carb thread I read gives me a different answer. Storm 250 living at 1300 feet. I do not want anything Keihin. Too much hassle with the jets etc. Mikuni vm26 or 28 will fit but from what I understand but the Mikuni vm28 is much better for the performance mods and uses different jets. I also have read "why even bother getting another knock off carb" when you can buy a Nibbi, ok what size carb and what style and sizes of jets to order? Or is there a better option vs. "The Nibbi" ? |

I can supply a nibbi that’s a direct fit with the 2 holes in the flange at the head end

Ok everyone,
This model has very nice hardware and a nice finish to go along with the great price (cheap). 28mm size and the second link I believe is the correct jet assortment for it? If not just show me what to buy off Amazon, I really have no idea. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...9D158JXZ&psc=1 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...S8N6EAC2&psc=1 |

The jets you have link to are the right ones... I got all mine carb/jets of alliexspress.. Koso is a Chinese copy of the Tiwanese OKO.. I have a real OKO on my 348 Cota..can't see any real diffrents in them... Far better carb than the ones a lot here buy and it not much more prise wise and jets are easy to find... But I would go for a Koso branded one...maybe a bit more but it's not made to a prise so much.. They seem to come in diffrent levels of quility and prise.. .

I have to agree with Pete. I have the Keihin PWK30 which is almost identical to the Koso /OKO 30mm and is way more responsive than the PZ30. It has a true 30mm bore where the PZ30 has a 28mm bore with a buttery fly valve obstructing the flow.

But, you have a ported engine so need the 30. Mine is stock so 28 is right? I just need a good one with a full spectrum of the correct jets I can order from Amazon with the exhaust, battery and pod filter. I was hoping that black one was good since the bolts are nicer made than just screws. Carbs are confusing :( |

Oooh, I found an oil cooler that looks like yours on Amazon. $69 with shipping. I’ll post it later and ask if it will fit the oil spout properly. Thanks everyone! |

LOL... It is the engine breather... I put it in the head stud bolt hole
to keep out of the way while I was putting the carb on.. If you look at the top of the motor/rocker cover you will see the breather spiget that it fits on to..
