Here's a slightly shorter Lifan X-Pect replacement brake lever for only $8.

Some people complain about the levers on the X-Pect being too long. They make it hard to install hand guards and they're so long that they easily bend if you drop the bike.

Here's a brake lever I just bought on ebay that perfectly fits the factory mount and is about an inch shorter.

I have not been able to find a clutch lever that fits the factory mount. Anyone know of one?

You can find many replacement clutch levers that come with a new mount, but I'd like one that fits the factory mount so that the factory interlock switch and mirror can stay in place.

Why not just buy the whole assembly for the same price? That way you know everything will work. No more hoping that fit. https://www.amazon.com/Universal-Han...91&sr=1-7&th=1

I considered that option, but I don't want to replace the factory mounts. I'm not sure of the quality of that master cylinder compared to the original and I would have to bypass the clutch lever switch.

I've been using those aftermarket assemblies (clutch and brake) and they work good. I think it was less than 30 bux for the pair and they are a real pretty too ( I got blue).

I've installed them on my Hawk several years ago and work much better than stock.

UPDATE:
The replacement brake lever snapped like a twig on it's first fall during an off-road ride, which caused us to end the ride early. Unlike the factory lever, it did not bend, it just snapped.

So, I would not recommend the shorter $8 brake lever.
