lighting question
My headlights were aimed to high even after adjusting them all the way in. so I drilled the top "fairing" bolt holes out to elongate then to tilt the whole fairing down a bit. This helps but lighting is still not great. I sometimes ride the bike to work all back roads until I get about 8 miles from my exit then get on the interstate because I'm tired of going so slow and not being able to see the roads for curves coming up. There's very little traffic out that late at night. by the time I get on the interstate its usually around 1 am.
My question is how much wattage does the stator put out? I order these LED lights from amazon: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ilpage_o02_s00 I have unused "eye" holes on each fork by the top of the front tires, I hope to mount the lights there. they are 18 watts each or 36 watts total. So I will be adding 3 amps to the system. Will my stator be able to handle this without overheating and still be able to charge the battery? Thanks in advance. |

elongated "fairing" top hole. I posted these pictures in case anybody else is having similar issues and this might help. I did this to the top hole on both sides.

Thanks for the suggestion, the bike came with a LED taillight and turn signal. I'll will have to check what bubl I have and check into a LED, that's a good idea.

Use another browser, like IE. Once it has loaded, copy from the IE address bar and then paste into Chrome.
