Recommendations for strengthening a Hawk 250 frame

I can weld decently with a flux core welder, and have done some extensive suspension upgrades to my Hawk (an entire Honda XR250L front and rear end, including the wheels and brakes). I'm not interested in jumping the Hawk, as I realize it wasn't made for that and I'm too old for that anyways. However, I would like to do some harder off road trail riding and am considering strengthening the Hawk's frame. What areas would you recommend that would allow me to still run the TT250 skid plate and an oil cooler?

I was thinking starting with the footpegs.

What other recommendations do you have?

TIA!
