Magician Front Brakes

The front brakes on my Magician are not very good. (Rear are OK) Can anyone recommend a better set of brake pads, or should I be looking at calipers as well?

I would say try bleeding the line out first. I had to replace my front brake line on my KPX (because I'm and idiot) and couldn't believe how much more responsive it was. I am pretty sure it didn't come to me properly bleed out.

I did that but will do it again just to make sure

Bled the line. It was fine. I removed the shoes and ran them across a wire wheel to take some of the shine off. Brakes work a lot better now/

This fellow has some pretty good Magician videos where he has found several aftermarket parts for it, including some from the Yamaha XG250 Tricker that will bolt right up. Being that that those are Japanese parts, you might want to check out his Rumble channel: https://rumble.com/c/c-2483920
