Ride sat sept 6
My wife had a baby shower. So me and Fred decided to take the bikes out.
We decided to head up ladysmith side today.
this is holland lake. More commonly known as company damn
It is a man made lake and is ladysmiths water supply
We heard from many sources that the lake was fairly low this year. So we decided to go see for ourselves.
Where we're parked and alot of the images show land that should be under water
This is taken standing closer to where the waterline normally is.
I'll ride or drive around the lake one day and get more pictures. Showing the man made walls ect. Really neat stuff. I'll go at a different time of year to showing the different water levels. Plus in winter. We can skate on this lake
On our way back down we decided to check out another lake. This ones not to far off the road we were on anyways.
This is. Coronation lake. I've never heard anyone call it that and everyone I know calls it. Sutton lake
If I'd known we were going to stop here I would of brought my fishing rod lol
This is a fairly small lake. But it's very quiet and secluded
We saw a bear on our way up today. Wish I got pictures of it. But was not quick enough
That about sums up our adventure for today. We rode a couple other places. But no more pictures. Plus wasent anything to to interesting lol
