Today, the new tubes were aligned a little better and tacked into place. Everything is looking good. The frame is a little out of square but not bad. About 1/8” out. I’ll try to fix it but honestly, I could live with it, as is. The frame will be secured to a bigger table, clamped into place, leveled, squared and the finish welding will be done there. The next step will be cross braces. I have some 1” square tubing for that. The frame will be reinforced at the bottom with steel plate for the jack shaft. The top will get the same type steel plate. The stock seat will be replaced with a tractor seat. This will make more room to haul things.
