We now have a semi-mocked up frame. The new tubing has been tack welded into place. I cut the 4’ section of 7/8” tubing into (4) 12” pieces. The 5/8” tubing was cut into 4” pieces and inserted to align everything. There is still a little wiggle room to fine tune everything tomorrow. The frame will be measured, squared and then, the final welding will be done. You can tell by the pictures that the fine tuning is yet to be one. I’m very confident that I can align and square the frame tomorrow.

The rear wheel and associated parts will be added before the final welding to help square it. The frame now has plenty of room for the jackshaft to gear the bike down. It looks a lot longer now but this will give me more stability on the hills and room to haul extra equipment. The bike is finally coming together.

Very excited!
