Well after assembling, changing the oil, and a new sparkplug I have put about 10 miles on the bike. Some on road and some off road.the engine runs smooth and quiet.has good power at low rpm, gets a little less peppy at the higher end.and if you try to hold it at mid rpm's it seems to slow down a little. I think a carb change is in order. It seems happiest on the road. Off-road it seems a little squirly and unstable compared to my sons crf230, but I intend to use it on the street mostly anyway so its OK. The bike looks nice and overall seems to be a good value for $1300.00. It seems to be geared well for off-road use but not street use so a sprocket change will be on the list as well.
I will post engine pics later and maybe you guys can help me find the parts for my upgrades.
