I would get the Bashan 250; it will have significantly more power than the TMEC 200.
However, once the price approaches $2,000, you are usually better off to look for a good deal on a used, Japanese motorcycle.
I am well familiar with the TMEC 200. If you visit the dealer in West Jordan, get photographs of the Bashan 250's engine and wheels. It appears the Bashan 250 has one of the very reliable, pushrod engines.
