The Shinko 244 tire handles very well on every surface, except mud. In heavy mud the Shinko 244 is useless.

Fortunately, if one is taking an adventure where heavy mud might be encountered, you can mount the CST, Surge I (C7210) tire in size 100/90-18, on the stock front wheel of the RX3.

I use the 21-inch version of this tire on the front wheel of my Honda XR650L. It performs very well on pavement, even at 85 mph, and it will keep you upright in the nastiest mud you will encounter.
