Thanks for the reply. A shift lever that is 1/2 inch shorter would probably work fine.
But when I clicked on the Amazon site and read the specs of the foot shift lever, they seemed weird. It stated the foot shift lever was 11.9" X 5.1" X 1.3"?????
I can't figure out where they were measuring on the part.
So, I measured from the front of the left rider's foot peg to the back of the rubber contact tip of the lever and the distance between measured 5 & 7/8".
So you said that the new lever is 1/2" shorter than the stock foot shift lever. So does your new replacement lever measure about 5 & 3/8" when measured the same way as I measured my lever?
And the shift lever part is listed as for a '93-'03 Honda XR650L bike.
