I think the new bike curse is over. Seems like every time I get a new bike it rains for days. lol I took her out for a short ride. Even with our crappy roads the bike rides fairly smooth. It doesn't feel like cheap ride on toy. lol It does have a good heavy feel to it and stays planted. Of course it only maxes out at 35 MPH. You can feel it has plenty of power but it's like it hit a speed limiter. Even up on the swingarm stand it still maxed out at the same speed so that proves it has a limiter. There must be some regulations or something that they have to limit the speed in order to be classified as a moped so you don't have to get a motorcycle license. Who knows?
I'll fix that though. lol The shunt mod should gain roughly 15 mph from what I've read and watch on You Tube. I'll try that out over the weekend. Speedometer is about 10 mph off. The older Evaders speedo has an adjustment so that you can calibrate it. I took mine apart last night but no adjustment. You can see were it was to be located. I've already found a programable speedo that will be an exact fit and replacement. Even though it is limited, It still was a blast riding around town.
