The stock rear sprocket for your TT-R225 is 58T. You can easily find 50T and 45T rear sprockets for the XT225 which fit perfectly.

You can also use use Zongshen 200GY-2 parts from Taobao.com to replace your Yamaha parts.

Valves
Valve Rockers
Camshaft
Camshaft Timing Chain
Pickup Coil

If you switch to the Zongshen CDI unit, you can also use the Zongshen stator.

I saved my friend Andy over $500 when we converted the damaged electrical system of his Yamaha TT-R225 to Chinese parts.
