yeah, I reckon that elongating the holes would work
To be honest, when I first read about their oil leak problem I didn't think that tension on the top mounting would cause this, I figured that a crack in the casing would be more likely to occur from excessive tension.
In my opinion its more likely to just be a bad gasket seal.
That said, it wouldn't hurt to undo the top engine mounting bracket to see if it is under stress and whilst Its off, tweaking the bolts on the top casing to make sure they are tight.
