I like to do Power to Weight ratio, or "Horse Power Per Ton" ratio, makes it more realistic to the power you will actually feel when out driving/riding

1.5 hp added to a 267 pound bike is actually quite a bit in reality basically adding "6 horse power per ton" to your stats for $500

And make sure the K&N Filter is a good design, I know on most motorcycles your are sacrificing a ton of surface area on the K&N Filters making them less effective and actually more restrictive than UNI (and other brands) Foam Filters
