I thought I'd touch base, here is an update on my Mavila Calvary. I've put 1800 miles on it now and have had no mechanical issues, it cruises easily at 50 mph, overall I'm getting about 80 mpg. It is fun moto to ride, I'd like to improve the rear suspension though. I've got enough confidence in the moto to take it on a trip, I'll probably head south on it sooner than later, my plans are to visit some Pre-Inca ruins that that I've not been able to get out to with my other moto. The attached photos are from the Inca ruins at Pachacama, the history of Peru is absolutely incredible, I've visited these sites all over the country there are many more to see. http://www.lostcitiesofperu.com/
