Put the new battery in yesterday and took the beast out for lunchtime spin today.
Kinda nice to ride something that actually accelerates. Took me a few minutes to forget that I can't upshift with my heel, though.
The retraining only took a couple of miles. My biggest worry was that I'd forget to put my foot down at a stop sign.
However, after almost six months of riding the Ural, I can safely say that the brakes on the CX really do suck.
I wonder if I can put a four piston Brembo on?
