Well a vernier caliper will be needed, basically measure the roller diameter, roller width ( i usually measure inbetween the inner links ) and then the pitch, since they go in 1/8"s it pretty easy to tell the difference between 428 ( 1/2" ) and 530 ( 5/8") pitches.
