I mounted the unit itself where the old speedo mounted. Hooked 1 wire to the battery. Another to the frame. Pulled the spark plug and re installed it with the temp. sensor. Wrapped the pick-up wire for the tach 5 times around the spark plug wire.
I drilled and tapped a 6mm hole in the rotor for the magnet. The pick-up just ty-wraps to the fork leg.
Seem to remember it taking 30 minutes or an hour to do.
