Incandescent light bulbs also provide heat, which here, means using electrical energy, generated from hyrdo-electric dams, where as many people use natural gas heat for their homes.... I know they don't do a whole ton of heating, but it does provide some... I think the cfl lights is sort of a bandwagon issue... There seems to be a lot of that.... Penn and Teller did an episode of BullSh!t on Environmental Hysteria.. I think the term they used was joiner?

It's interesting to see that we must have two different viewpoints at least on this forum, in this topic, it is predominately the stop banning everything you've gone too far crowd, and then we have the topic of sport/super bikes where we have the these aren't safe, why are they allowed to be sold, do something crowd. Everyone is entitled to their opinions though, I am just observing.
