I had the same trouble starting my Honda--kept flooding it from Chinese habit! My DR seemed heavy, too. It sounds like the perfect bike for Show Low, considering you have trails (and I bet your trails aren't made of the beach sandy-like stuff we have all around Yuma making it very uncomfortable for two wheelers, but a dream for anything on 4)and roads to ride around on.
They shut down most of the trails :evil: Lotta Kallevornians movnig here and causing trouble :? But there are still some good places to get crazy.
Right now to much mud and snow to really do anything but I rode on the roads and had some fun. Sand is rough but snow is rougher
