Personally, I think that "old" 250 four stroke with upgrades is more motorcycle that he admits-certainly for someone that probably rode bikes like them in races. Seasoned rider knows how to push it. And an open class 500cc 2 stroke with everything but the kitchen sink is harder to handle than a 250 for a "weekend warrier"

I wish the test was done with a modern 4 stroke 250 with weekend warrier onboard, compared to an unmodified Trailmaster TM36 (properly jet) with the Pro. That would be an interesting match up!

Just my perspective. Of course, I don't even qualify as a weeknd warrier anymore, so what do I know
