So i got to play around with the little welder over the weekend. I sacrificed myself to the cold just for you. lol I had a few pieces of scrape angle iron i tested the Flux core on. I only had .35 wire. Very simple and easy to setup. Even a caveman could do it. lol There are two knobs. One is for Voltage which you set on 0. You can adjust voltage 3 volts either way. This controls the heat. The other knob is for amps and wire speed. The wire speed increases and decreases with the amps. On 1/8" thick angle, I set it to 60 amps. This thing welds like butter. So smooth. No guessing at wire speed VS amps. I tried in on two pieces 1/4" plate. I set it to 85 amps and put down a nice bead. I like this thing already. Yesterday I picked up some 1/8" rods to try the stick welding out. I started out at 80 amps and had to increase the amps until I could lay down a good weld. at 110 amps it welded perfect. It didn't come with the Lift TIG gun but from the videos i watched it looks like it does a good job with that too. I'll wait till i get some warmer weather and make a video on the machine. This think works so much better than my old Gas welder.
