Torque thrives on small throttle openings. It'll hurt top end, but it's not like it'll lose so much torque it won't be able to take off. They use throttle stops on CRF50s, but that would probably be too obvious (and effectively do the exact same thing). Just try it, I guess. Either that or you could weld a washer into the header pipe, but you'll probably run really rich then.
