Yeah, the tube thickness and USD forks will give it much greater rigidity.

I just ordered a JT 15T sprocket for the X-pect, to try to free up some revs in 5th. 15/42 instead of the current 17/42. I have the stock 15T Chinese sprocket, but don't want to mix soft stuff with good stuff. The Chinese sprockets and chain are just backup.

To seriously set it up for offroad, and a top speed of maybe 50ish MPH, go 15/50, and keep a 17T handy for road duty. Just changing out the front sprocket will let you keep the same chain, since it's only a two-tooth difference. Just need to re-adjust it. Make sure to set the chain up initially with the largest sprockets, and have the adjusters 1/3 to 1/2 from the front, to give you room to move the adjusters backwards when you install the smaller front.
