Good point on battery, forgot about that one as I tend to get in a ride here or there during the winter.

If you have a lithium battery it's a bit less likely to have issues in storage if you have the correct type of charger that can charge to storage voltage.

Lead acid, keep on a maintenance charger and it should be fine, just make sure the charger you use isn't a trickle charger than constantly applies charging voltage...
