Here's the Trek 830 AL.


Took it out for a 6 mile, or so, ride on the local gravel route early this morning before we go Miami with the temps and humidity. Not bad for a 22 year old bike. I'm going to live with it for awhile before changing anything. First thing, though, would be the bottom feeder RST 281 fork. Think I would get the same performance with a rigid fork and Girvin Flex stem(I have an NOS one in 1 1/8")and have less dive.

The Vee brakes are the catsass(see comment about dive)and, although an admitted and card carrying Retrogrouch, I like the Sram Gripshift system. A lot more than the Sram trigger system on my fat bike.
