I got a Chinese hitch carrier that's similar to the ones from Cycle Gear. First thing I noticed was that the ramp wouldn't stay in place, so I drilled a couple of holes and put some 9 wire through the holes to hold it in place. I highly recommend to try loading a couple of times. I tried to load mine on my Dodge truck, and it's way too high to do by myself. I ended up with the front of the bike off the carrier against the tailgate. I then tried it on my Pathfinder, and it went up easily.
