I was busy today. A 12” long Sawzall blade made short work of the block.
Test fitting the transmission in the frame. Looks like I will be doing some frame work no matter what.
I got the Diesel up on the bench by myself. I’m going to feel that in the morning. Who am I kidding, I feel it now.
I pulled muffler, air cleaner, and fuel tank. That knocked off some weight and made for a slightly narrower profile. The blower cover is off to remove the fuel tank studs. I also found a broken blower cover bolt and got that out.
The sprocket cover with the clutch actuator came today, so that’s something. I also drilled out the rivets that hold the clutch basket, driven gear, and backing plate together. I have a think on how to make it work.
