if i remember correctly they would do that for insurance reasons.... market an 1100 and sell a 1000cc would be under whater cc rating.....at least thats what i heard.....don't they do that on nearly every bike?
i have one lots of fun but grab a tool set... a $1300 dual sport costs a little more in "sweat equity"
