BTW, do you know if we're required to have a light on the plate in Louisiana during the day? I know it's not likely it will be noticed and I don't ride at night much, but if it's a problem I need to get one on the RXB-250L... One less reason to get stopped, and right now the only thing that won't pass if they do. I imagine some of the local cops would be happy to have a reason to write a ticket and make the stop worth their while...
I'll eventually put a couple of those lighted bolts on the plate like that, just haven't ordered them yet.
That said, I had a full tail delete on my GSX-R and ran it like this for a couple of years and never got stopped. I didn't even have rear blinkers, they were integrated in the tail light and definitely not DOT... lol
