Now that its full on winter here, and spring will be here....eventually, its time to take apart the hawks and get everything back the way it should be (or close enough). This was an interesting enough fix and not nearly as cool as some of the stuff you guys do on here but maybe this write up can help someone else out. I wanted a cheap fix for this. I ended up cutting up the cross bars from the crate the hawk was shipped in (I'm going to use more of the crate to mount the oil cooler eventually). Matched up the holes as best I could and drilled them. I ended up using washers and nuts and bolts instead of the original hardware holding the rear on. Hopefully it will work well enough since I don't want to spend money replacing the rear plastic.
