I could see myself using something like that for a commute to work, but I wouldn't.
Why? Due to this being a 3 wheeled vehicle, in my state it would still require a motorcycle endorsement to ride. The only advantage it gives in terms of weather protection is a roof, and I am sure the doors add a few hundred or so to the cost, but would improve it.
If I have to have an endorsement, and only gain some weather protection while losing the convenience of motorcycle parking and fun, I would spend my $20k on a Zero SR/F, Or get a Zero S/R with the zf14.4 battery and power pack, and safe a couple thousand.
Just my personal preference. Still a neat little vehicle though. Too bad they don't have a sporty low slung one seater akin to a T-Rex.
