Rather then dinking around with making a mount I bought a csc tt250 wheel speed sensor. Fits great, cheaper than the alieexpres options and it got here in 3 days. Problem is it doesn't work, I get no reading on the speedo. If I hook up the sensor that came with the speedo and hold it against the wheel speed senor it does read, so I know the rotor is spinning. Is there different resistance ranges among these wheel speed sensors? Is the cluster not sensitive enough to pick up the magnets? Anyone know the for sure wiring of their sensor? Pretty sure I tried every combo available, red-red, yellow-white, green -green makes the most sense. Anyone have a clue why it's not working?
Red = 12v, Green is Batt -/Earth Yellow is signal.
Looks like you proved the wheel speed sensor to be faulty - shouldn't be an issue by using another style but do take note the number of magnets and how that is programmed in the dash
