Howdy! Lots of guys on here just like you that have/had bigger bikes and either wanted to get into riding again, or like me just enjoy a simple, small, slower bike to put around on that isn't a big heavy fire breather. The Bashan bikes are both good and have a strong following. If I had to choose between the two I think I would take the storm personally, or the new TaoTao TBR7. I like disc brakes on both ends of my bikes if I have a choice. If the Hawk is a possibility, then the BMS (Bashan also) CRP250 would be their closest equivalent to it. The Bashan bikes are a good option for those living in places that may not register a Hawk since it isn't technically 49 state legal.
