There are several different things that can cause this. But let's check the easiest one first. Ignition timing. All you need for this is a timing light. Hook the light to the spark plug wire, point the gun at the hole on the left side crankcase so it flashes on the flywheel/rotor. When it flashes, you should see the TDC line somewhere in the hole. If you don't, the magneto is not timed right from the factory, and it is a warranty problem. If you do the problem is on the other side (the timing side) of the engine, and we'll discuss that next time...ARH
