My old Honda XL200R i rode everywhere as a kid and luckily never had a flat to worry about.

The best advice i can give you is to be proactive , the tubes are a known weak link and getting a flat miles from home or truck is no fun. Pull off the tires while you have it in your garage or kitchen Check for loose/broken spokes replace or upgrade the rubber liner that protects the tube from the spoke nipples and fit some quality tubes.

It does not mean you wont get a puncture but it is a safer bet than the original tubes.
