My only reason for wanting the mesh filter is I like a cleanable filter. Just preference.
You're right about no time to ride. Need warmer days..... This is the time of year I go out to the garage and see how many batteries I need to resuscitate (or replace) in the rolling stock. I need to buy more float chargers for the down season.
