Later added a synthetic rope line after I found out cable sucks when it gets a little frayed and a little wire stabs your hand.. https://www.harborfreight.com/atvutv...kit-63139.html

The included fairlead wont allow you to suck in the hook like the stock one does. When it happens it sucks too.

I made a rubber anti suck puck out of a cheap rubber mallet .... works well.

For brackets I used what came with the winch and some angle iron to bolt it to the frame in multiple points to not put too much stress in just one spot.
