HotelRed, you are a fellow Arizonan. (I live in the wonderful frying pan also known as Yuma). I belong to a site called
www.ridingarizona.com that primarily discusses quads. With the many Chinese quads available at great prices, I have been considering one. On the ridingAZ site, many discuss street-legalizing their quads in Arizona.
Another group I belong to is an international motorcycle site called
www.horizonsunlimited.com There is an active forum and people from all over the world discuss their travels throughout pretty much anywhere in the world.
Someone piqued my interest when they were discussing a planned quad trip through the Sahara Desert. I have absolutely no money for such a trip, nor a particular desire to go to Africa, but a trip through the "wilds" of Arizona would make a good alternative.
