A lot of the 50s trucks were, In fact the '49 Dodge 1 ton i had was a large 6 lug bolt pattern. Not sure when 8 lug was phased in.
May have found an option to try that meets the specs but i will need to see if the local shop can bring one in to test fit and i have the cash on hand to buy if they do.
