Pitster Pro is importing that bike; I understand a 450cc bike will be coming, too, badged GPX and sold via Pitster Pro.
I think the point that people were making is that there are a few 'serious' bikes already available, notably Pitster Pro's XTR 250 lineup, which have proved themselves as more competition ready than, say, a Hawk, not to mention their LXR 250.

Also, there is Asiawing
http://www.asiawing.com/ sold via SSR who have a 250 and 450 which are fairly proven on the track and trails.
http://www.ssrmotorsports.com/store/...bike-index.php (the top two, the 450 and 250) are OEM'd by Asiawing.
All of these bikes have been around for a while.
Oh, and speaking of Asiawing and their 450; Christini's 2WD bikes are OEM'd by Asiawing...

Not to mention a few niche European bikes use Chinese engines. Someone can chime in on the brands, since it is early and I have not had my coffee, so don't remember any names, but they are available here.
I understand what you were asking/saying, but in the 'shadows' have existed some decent serious machines for a few years now. That GPX is icing on the cake.
