Warp 9 Aluminum Wheel Bling!

Been on my list to do for some time. I actually ordered the Warp 9 rims over a year a when they had a sale. Rims have been sitting on a shelf and I finally made this a winter project. I disassembled the stock wheels and cleaned hubs, spokes and nipples. I more or less followed Warp 9s guide to wheel building here: http://www.warp9racing.com/how-to/ho...orcycle-wheel/. Take your time and lacing up a wheel is pretty strait forward. You will need a truing stand.

I put a dab of grease where each nipple contacted the hub and used a small dab of anti-seize on the threads of each spoke. The stock spokes and nipple are all the right length to work with the the Warp 9 rims. The front the spokes are all the same but the back wheel spokes have different bends to them depending on which side they thread through the hub. These are the wheel sizes I went with:

Rear Wheel (yes it’s spec-ed as a front on the Warp 9 web page) (weight savings 0.75 lbs rotating mass)
3.5” works fine with the tires I’ve picked, they didn’t have any red wheels in the 3” and I went with bling over function...
SM Rims (#89-17363-3) Wheel Type: Front 36 hole, Rim Size: 17 x 3.50,
Rim Color: Red

Front Wheel (yes also spec-ed as a rear on the Warp 9 web page) (weight savings 1.5 lbs rotating mass)
Same width as CSC 19” upgrade wheel.
MX/Enduro Rims (#89-19363) Bike Type: MX/Enduro,
Rim Grade: Standard 7000,
Wheel Type: Rear 36 hole,
Rim Size: 19 x 2.15, Rim Color: Red
