On the LXR it is self tuning and has had zero issues with the big bore kit; in fact, it starts better than stock. Possibly because the compression ratio is higher and the valves are slightly unshrouded due to the bigger piston.
I'd really like to see someone try it on an RX3 and give us some feedback.
