The countershaft sprocket was really weird on the chain drive ATC's, and I don't think the spline is the same. A CG motor would physically bolt in (as would an XR200 motor), but I think you'd need to split the case and change the countershaft. The kicker wouldn't likely clear the frame, which is why they used a pull start. The electric start version was '83, and the only year to have both chain drive and electric start. A motor from an '83 with electric start would be the best option.
