It's not really an issue, unless you've got long legs and your knees are close to the valve covers. IIRC, Harper's Moto sells knee protectors for taller riders. I like the Stelvio, but I can't even throw my leg over it. The one advantage of having a transverse V-twin is the valve covers make great hand warmers for those of us who are crazy enough to ride in the winter. Although MGs can be as idiosyncratic as a Chinese bike, my Breva is the most reliable bike I've ever owned.
