Me too! Except I wrapped the pipe that I added that connects the header to the Akrapovic muffler.
Note to anyone doing this job:
1. Wear gloves. Fiberglass will itch for a good long time
2. Don't panic after washing the bike. The fabric will asborb water and will steam-off as the pipe warms up
