I think you will find that you use the side stand most of the time. I only use my center stand when fueling, lubing the chain, or maintenance.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: The side stand does not have an idiot,,,,,, er,,,,,,, safety switch. You can ride away with the side stand still down, which makes for a thrilling first left hand turn. Keeps the heart rate up.
